Where's My Ice-cream? by carrot-milk Where's My Ice-cream? by carrot-milk
Went to opus last friday and bought something I had my eyes on for a while. I didn't know how it would work, so I was hesitant. Now that I tried it, I will never regret bringing it home. All of the paper in the moleskine sketchbook are dyed yellow, so it has this vintage effect, which I love C: it's so thick too, perfect for copic and pencil. This is the second doodle I did in my sketchbook, with watercolor. There's this odd coating on the paper that doesnt allow water to sink in immediately, so it was pretty weird, rubbing and shoving the waters around until it finally get absorbed. Overall I love my new sketchbook.

Now I shall direct your attention to her shoelaces.

Durrr, it's really cute. :) I love moleskine too, I'm using a different sketchbook that I just started, but searching for another for my next one. Doesn't the paper get all wrinkly from watercolors on the moleskine? Mine did that, but maybe I'm using the wrong molekine. What moleskine book do you use?

I know the type of paper you speak of, I like it, too :meow: . But they're so hard to find and so expensive :grump: At least they are, here...

Anyways, great work, as always :happybounce:

I have a question, doesn't your Copics bleed through the Moleskine sketchbook? I'm looking forward to buying one, but people say Copics bleed through the paper badly :/

it does :D but bleeding through doesn't really matter to me, when I put something under it and that there is no drawing of the opposite side of that page c:

I know you can see it on the other side of the paper but can you actually FEEL that the ink actually went on the othe side?

And if it doesn't, can u tell me which model it is? I'm interested in buying a sketchbook for Copics but the copic ones are out of stock for the size I wanted :(
